Selection of Assistant Superintendent of Finance & Operations

Dr. Midge Connolly, Superintendent, is pleased to announce the selection of Ms. Sheri-Lynne Matthews as the new Assistant Superintendent of Finance and Operations beginning July 1, 2018. 

Ms. Matthews has been the Director of Business Services for the Tewksbury Public Schools since 2014. Before that she was the Director of Finance/Operations for the Leicester Public Schools and spent many years as the Budget Officer for the Northborough-Southborough Public School System.  Ms. Matthews received both her Bachelor of Science in Business Management and her Masters of Science in Leadership, from Northeastern University.

Much appreciation to all who helped during the search process by serving on the interview committee, meeting with the finalists, attending forums, and providing feedback.

Please join me in welcoming Sheri-Lynne Matthews to the Weston Public Schools.

The Weston School Committee will vote on Dr. Connolly’s recommendation to appoint Ms. Matthews as Assistant Superintendent at its next meeting.
