Superintendent’s Update re COVID-19 (Monday, March 16, 2020)
March 16, 2020
Dear Weston Community,
Thank you for your cooperation, civility, and patience from all of you who came to the schools to pick up technology and belongings. Going forward we will deep clean and then lock down all the schools until we are ready to reopen, following the Governor’s direction.
During the time we are away from the school buildings, it will be important to continue monitoring the health of our community members. In order to do this monitoring, a weekly confidential email survey will be sent to all families and staff which will only be viewed by school nurses. The survey should be filled out only if a student or staff member is feeling ill. The survey will be available in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal Inbox and in the weekly email reminders you will receive.
The school nurses are available to help and can be reached by email for any questions or concerns:

We would like to help any families that might be in need of food during this time. If you have such a need please fill out this confidential form so we can put a pick-up or delivery plan in place. In addition, counselors at Project Bread’s FoodSource Hotline (800) 645-8333 are available to connect our community to food resources as well as provide you with information about elder meals programs and the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). The Hotline will continue to operate Monday-Friday, 8am-7pm, and Saturday, 10am-2pm, and can provide information in 160 languages through the Language Line.
A communication introducing the Weston School from Home program will be coming from central administration tomorrow. We plan to launch Weston School from Home on Thursday, March 19th.
Best,
Dr. Midge Connolly
