This past Saturday, September 9, Weston High School hosted the first major event of the year for the robotics community: the international FIRST Tech Challenge. Teams from across Massachusetts participated in an exciting morning full of seminars run by WPS students, as well as students from other districts and volunteer mentors.
Following the seminars, a recap of last season, and a few other presentations, attendees joined the global kickoff broadcast that revealed this year’s challenge, in which about 7,000 teams from across the globe will be participating. We are excited to see how far our robotics teams go!
