Second Annual Astronomy Night on Tuesday, October 15, from 5-8pm

The Weston 6-12 Science Department, Weston PTO, and Weston STEM Council are excited to invite you to its Second Annual Astronomy Night on Tuesday, October 15, from 5-8pm in the Science Atrium at Weston High School.

This is a great opportunity to learn a little about astronomy, meet some of our science educators, and have some fun with the family. The event will start in the Science Atrium with hot chocolate, cookies, and star-themed activities. Around 6pm, everyone will move into the GEC for a short talk on astronomy followed by gazing at the night sky.

We expect the event to last about two hours. This will be designed to be a rain-or-shine event with an indoor star-gazing opportunity.

If you have any questions or plan on bringing a telescope and are willing to help with our event, please contact Dr. Steve Ribisi or the PTO STEM team: Stephanie Mazitschek, BJ Grattan, Severine Imbert de Smirnoff, and Andrea Kocharyan. This event is open to the whole Weston community.
