Country, Woodland, and Field School families, please mark your calendars for Saturday, October 31 from 12-2pm for our first ever Halloween Parade, brought to you by the WHS Sophomore class and the Weston PTO. Get dressed up, decorate your car, and come drive through a parade route decorated with non-spooky scenes from favorite children’s movies and other Halloween themed characters! So that all families may safely participate, please only come during your family’s designated time listed below:
Field School: 12:00pm Cohort A / 12:15pm Cohort B
Woodland School: 12:30pm Cohort A / 12:45pm Cohort B
Country School: 1:00pm Cohort A / 1:15pm Cohort B
Remote Learning Academy: 1:30pm A-M Last Name / 1:45pm N-Z Last Name
The Sophomore class is asking that all PreK-5 families carve a pumpkin for the event to line the parade route. You may place your jack-o-lantern along Alphabet Lane on Saturday, October 31 from 8-10am. Certificates will be awarded to the most creative, funniest, scariest, and happiest jack-o-lanterns. Be sure to pick up your jack-o-lantern after 3pm on October 31 to see if it won a prize!! The parade route map and other details will be included in your weekly school announcements.
The sophomores have been working very hard to make sure this will be a joyful memory for all of our elementary students! Please consider donating to their class by clicking on this link: Class of 2023 Halloween Parade.
