WHS Virtual Pumpkin Patch!
We invite you to participate in Weston High School’s 15th annual (COVID-adapted) Pumpkin Festival in support of Camp Sunshine, a camp for terminally ill children in Casco, Maine!
The students of WHS will be running a Virtual Pumpkin Patch on Wednesday, 10/21 from 5-6PM and Sunday, 10/25 (there will be 3 sessions running from 9-12PM). The Virtual Pumpkin Patch will consist of activities that children would have had the chance to participate in during the in person Pumpkin Festival.
This will be hosted by the WHS Students via Zoom during the designated time slots listed above. The first 30 families to sign up for each slot will be able to participate and the Zoom link will be sent out to you approximately 12 hours prior to the Zoom call.
Information on the activities and the supply lists for each of the activities can be found by clicking this link. If your family is participating, we encourage you to purchase the supplies prior to the Virtual Pumpkin Patch.
If your child is one of the first 30 children to sign up for the designated Pumpkin Patch activity, you will receive an email from Erin McCarty, the high school Pumpkin Festival advisor, who will provide a Zoom link for the designated date you have selected.
With signing your child up for an activity, we highly encourage you to donate on behalf of Camp Sunshine. This is a camp in Casco, Maine that supports children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. With the help of your donations, camp is accessible to families, regardless of their income. The fundraising page for Weston’s team can be found by visiting http://events.campsunshine.org/site/TR/Marathons/General?team_id=4253&pg=team&fr_id=1510
We hope to see your children at one of the Pumpkin Patch events to bring the Halloween spirit to Weston!
