As a part of Spring Fling, the WHS Student Council is hosting Cupcake Wars. All money raised will help send kids with limb loss and differences to Camp No Limits. Students at Field, Country, and Woodland schools can order a pre made kit using the link below. Kits are $14 each and contain two vanilla cupcakes, chocolate and vanilla frosting and assorted toppings. Last year we raised over $2,000 this year we are aiming for $3,000. Thank you to all those who participate in helping us make a difference!
To order please fill out the GOOGLE FORM and Venmo @westonpublicschools $14 with the caption “Cupcake Wars.” Payment is due by March 15th. Cupcake Kit Pickup is on March 19th, from 11am – 2pm at the Field School Entrance.
Once you have decorated your cupcakes, upload photos to the “Weston Cupcake Wars 2022” Facebook Group. Winners will be chosen based on creativity. Questions? Email 23Kouyoumjiank@weston.org.
5. PTO Parent Ed Event: Parenting and (Still) Fostering Resilience
Parents often feel like they are running a marathon. Parenting is happening under complex, ever-changing circumstances, further complicated by worry about illness, changes at school, social distancing, and both real and anticipated negative mental health impacts on our kids and teens. Join us for this interactive session about parent resilience, including practical strategies on how we can take care of both our children and ourselves during these challenging times. Event will include a brief presentation with time for discussion and Q&A.
Wednesday, March 16th at 7 PM
Virtual presentation will be one hour followed by a Q&A.
