3. Third Grade Events

-Clap Out!

Third Grade Clap Out will take place on Tuesday, June 21st at 10:45am. The third graders will make their way through the school with the hallways lined with the Country School staff and student body cheering them on. They will continue onto the blacktop by the playground, where families will gather to clap and cheer for them. Parking will be tricky between early dismissal and the 5th-grade parade – please plan accordingly.

-3rd Grade Graduation Pool Party!

Please join us at the Weston Memorial Pool (6 Alphabet Lane, Weston) following the Country School Graduation Clap Out on June 21st to celebrate our graduates! The pool opens at 11:30am. We will have a specific area reserved for 3rd graders and their families to mingle and enjoy pizza, drinks and popsicles. If you feel inclined to contribute money to the provided refreshments, please Venmo Erika McAuliffe @erika-mcauliffe and reference the 3rd-grade pool party.

Memorial Pool Fees: If you have a pool badge entry is free. If you do not have a pool badge, entry is $10/person (up to a max of $30 per family). Thank you to the Third Grade Room Parents for organizing this fantastic event!

4. CS Lost & Found

We will have Lost & Found items outside for families to access during the CS All-School Picnic and Clap Out. The items will be outside the CS Gym on the blacktop, overlooking the CS playground. All remaining items will be donated.

5. BWMPO John Hudson Scholarship Fund for the class of 2023 Update!

BWMPO is so excited to partner with Dr. Henry, award-winning poet and English teacher at Weston High School.  He has generously agreed to donate 50% of the pre-sale proceeds of his third book to the John Hudson Scholarship Fund for the class of 2023.  We have a one-month window to share the link with everyone we know and purchase multiple copies of Dr. Henry’s book.  It will make a great holiday or birthday gift.  Please share with your networks and purchase the book!

For questions, please contact Keitrice Johnson @ keke927@gmail.com

7. Weston Council on Aging Food Pantry Drive

→Final days to participate!

The Weston PTO’s final Community Outreach event for the year will benefit the Weston Council on Aging’s Food Pantry and run from Wednesday, June 1 through Wednesday, June 15.  Fortunately, the food pantry is currently well-stocked!  However, there is a great need for specific items for the food pantry, chef kits, and the upcoming  “Orange You Glad It’s Summer” Grab & Go program.  Given the need for specific items and sizes, we are requesting donations be made directly through the Council on Aging’s Amazon Wish List.  To access the list, please CLICK HERE and send the items directly to the Council on Aging.  For questions, please contact either Theresa Nibi at (617) 519-5010 or Stacy Simon Gilman at (781) 789-5927.  Please generously support this wonderful program run by Weston’s Council on Aging.
