CS PTO Update

Hello, Country School!

Thank you for joining us last week at Back-to-School Night, it was standing room only during Mrs. Maguire’s presentation. To show our appreciation to the teachers for all of their hard work and for staying late, the PTO provided a catered dinner before the evening commenced.

It’s time to start planning the Weston PTO Elementary Trunk-or-Treat! This year’s Trunk-or-Treat will take place on Friday, October 27th from 4:30-6pm in the Field School Parking Lot. Pizza will be provided by the PTO, so come find our table. This event relies on the help of volunteers so we encourage you to sign-up! We are in need of NUT-FREE candy donations, safe NON-FOOD items for teal pumpkins and trunk decorators. You can access these volunteer opportunities here.

For those who want to decorate a trunk, THANK YOU! This is a really fun way to get your whole family involved in the event, or you might even consider partnering with a friend! Whatever makes the experience the most fun and doable for you. The event flyer and trunk examples can be found at the bottom of this email. This event is open to PK-5 students from all three elementary schools and their families. Parents, please note that this is not a drop-off event and that all children need to be accompanied by an adult. It is our goal to make this event safe, inclusive, and fun for all of our families. Only NUT-FREE food items will be allowed at this event. Thank you in advance for your willingness to volunteer for what is sure to be a SPOOKtacular Trunk-or-Treat event.

Please see additional announcements below. Don’t forget to subscribe to the Country School calendar to stay up to date on all school and PTO-related activities, and follow us on Instagram @countryschool for school-related photos and information.

Have a great week, Coyotes!
