Tape Art Workshop for CS and WS 2nd Graders on Monday 3/24 & 3/25

On Monday, March 24, at Country School, and on Tuesday, March 25, at Woodland School, 2nd graders will be treated to a unique, hands-on, visual-arts workshop presented by the pair of arts educators, muralists, and “original tape artists” known as Tape Art. Incorporating themes pulled directly from the social studies curriculum, and with emphasis on collaboration, creativity, and the power of art to express ideas, the workshop will culminate in a highly-engaging, large-scale temporary artwork of the student’s own making.

Many thanks to WEEFC and the PTO Performing Artists & Authors Committee for sponsoring this unique opportunity to integrate studio arts and the core curriculum! Your contributions to WEEFC help us provide our students with in-person enrichment programs like this. Thank you for your continued support!
