Weston Windows Integrated Preschool Program
Weston Windows, our integrated preschool program for children ages 3 years to 5 years old, provides a comprehensive range of services within a structured, supportive and engaging preschool environment. Weston Windows welcomes all children. In our four classrooms, we establish a strong sense of community in which every child is a valued member and diversity is celebrated. All students participate in developmentally appropriate play-based learning activities that are child-centered, evidence-based and aligned with the Massachusetts Guidelines for Preschool Learning Experiences. Children with moderate to severe special needs receive therapy and in-class support from their teachers, classroom aides, Speech-language pathologists, OTs and PTs depending on their individual needs.
- Weston families who are interested in having their preschoolers attend Weston Windows may apply to our program by contacting Martha Bakken at Bakkenm@weston.org
- Families of children who are receiving early intervention services from Riverside Early Intervention may contact Martha Bakken in the Office Student Services at BakkenM@weston.org with questions. At this time, Riverside Early Intervention case managers contact Janet to arrange transition meetings with families well in advance of a child’s third birthday so that we can work collaboratively to ensure a smooth transition from early intervention to preschool.
Please refer to the Preschool Information booklet, below, which provides more detailed information about the Weston Windows Integrated Preschool Program. Should you have further questions, please contact Student Services Director Martha Bakken.
