Dr. Dan Green is Principal of the Field School beginning in July 2018. Prior to joining Weston Public Schools, Dr. Green served as Vice Principal at the Pierce School, a K-8 school in Brookline, for three years. During 2017-18 he was on a leave of absence to complete a doctoral program. Dr. Green taught Social Studies at Brookline High School (2007-2014) and served as a middle school social studies educator in New Haven, CT (2006-2007) and in Goleta, CA (2003-2006).
Dr. Green earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Brandeis University, a Master of Education from Harvard University, and completed his doctoral work at Johns Hopkins University.
