Hello Field School Families!
We hope you had a really nice long weekend.
We have a very short set of PTO announcements for this week.
Upcoming Parent Coffees & District Events
Dr. Green would like to invite everyone to a virtual Welcome Back Coffee this Thursday, September 9th at 3pm. He’ll send the Zoom link on Thursday in a separate email.
Dr. Green will also be hosting grade-specific coffees, as well.
– Forth grade will be on September 23rd, Time/Venue – to be announced
– Fifth grade will be on September 30th, Time/Venue – to be announced
From our friends at SEPAC: Meet Weston’s New Directors of Student Services
The Weston SEPAC will be hosting a coffee to meet our new Director of Student Services, Martha Bakken, and new Assistant Director of Student Services, Emily Tucker. Join us for this opportunity to meet the new team.
When: Monday, September 13th 9am
Where: Case House Covered Porch (outdoors)
Fun Around School
Did you know that last year the 4th and 5th graders voted on the fox as the Field School mascot? And we’re going to be seeing the fox around school a lot this year! (Ask your kids about the special visitor who came to their classroom last Friday. If you haven’t already, check out our Instagram (WestonFieldSchool) to see some pictures!)
This year, the kids will have the opportunity to show their creativity by creating a fox illustration, and the winning design will be used around the school in lots of fun ways. The kids have already received details from their teachers and submissions are due next Wednesday (9/15) and can be turned into Mrs. Bergin at the front desk. We can’t wait to see all of the PAWsome PAWsibilities! 🦊
A huge Thank You!! to everyone who has signed the Personal Information Waiver. We’ve heard from almost everyone in the school! We’re grateful for your help getting this task accomplished as it’s going to make the start of the year even smoother.
And finally, be on the lookout for a welcome email from your room parents asking you to confirm your mailing address, transportation to/from school and any food allergies you’d like your class to be aware of.
