FS Innovation Center WEEFC Proposal
Dear Field School Families,
Really exciting things are happening at The Field School and we hope we can count on your support!
Dr. Green recently shared a $45,000 WEEFC grant proposal for a Field School Innovation Center, which would provide consistent opportunities for students to design, create, and innovate. Much like the iLab at Country and Hatch at Woodland, a vibrant maker space would enhance teaching and learning at Field by emphasizing innovative instruction and utilizing a blend of digital and physical technologies (3D printers, Circuit and laser cutters, coding equipment, iPads, tools and engineering tables) for students to explore. Additionally, the Innovation Center would be available to Country and Woodland students, as well.
If you’d like to read the Maker Space grant proposal in detail, which is currently going through the approval process, you may do so here.
We hope you will consider donating to WEEFC’s winter campaign and show your support for the new Field School Innovation Center! Donations can be made via Venmo, Paypal (QR codes below) or check (payable to Town of Weston-WEEFC, and mailed to WEEFC, 89 Wellesley St, Weston 02493). And don’t forget to ask your company about corporate match opportunities!
Thank you so much in advance for your support!
