Welcoming Jason Dimen, Incoming Woodland School Principal
Dear Weston School Community,
I am pleased to announce that Mr. Jason Dimen will be the next Principal of Woodland Elementary School. Mr. Dimen will officially begin on July 1, 2022, but he will be working with us over the next few weeks as he transitions to Weston from the Hopkinton Public Schools, where he served as an Assistant Elementary Principal for the past three years. He also served as an Elementary Assistant Principal in Southbridge.
Prior to his administrative roles, Mr. Dimen taught for more than 15 years. He began his teaching career as a Grade 7 Math Teacher in Framingham, and then transitioned to the Acton-Boxborough Regional School District where he taught math, science, technology and engineering to students in 5th and 6th grade. He also taught math at the Seven Hills Charter Public School in Worcester and was the English Language Learner liaison for the community. Mr. Dimen earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Boston University, a Master’s in Public Administration from Seattle University, and he completed a postgraduate program in School Administration at Lesley University.
Mr. Dimen has shared that he is incredibly excited to join the Weston School Community, and we look forward to his arrival.
Best,
Dr. Midge Connolly, Superintendent
