Get Your Field School Gear – Orders Due This Wednesday 11/23! Our school spirit store is officially open, and you can shop for all of your Field School and Weston swag by clicking here. Stock up, show off your school pride, and maybe even grab a few gifts for the holidays! Remember, you are shopping for a good cause; as in years past, all proceeds benefit our fifth grade Celebration Day in June, which is a very special annual milestone celebration.
Orders are due this Wednesday, November 23, at which time the store will be closed and all items shipped directly to you or delivered to FS to arrive in time for the holidays. We will not be able to accept orders after November 23 so be sure to order today! We want all students to have access to Field School gear so if you need financial assistance, please reach out to Dr. Green. Thank you for your support of this important fundraiser!
Elementary School Improvement Plan: Our Elementary School Principals presented the School Improvement Plan to the School Committee last week. If you were not able to be there in person, we encourage you to watch the presentation to learn about all the amazing things the Elementary Schools have planned for this year.
PTO Parent Education Talk on Child and Teen Mental Health Issues in Weston: The United States is facing a national emergency when it comes to teen mental health. Curious about the main issues therapists are treating and trends they are seeing in Weston and neighboring towns? Join us on Thursday, December 1 at 7:00 pm for a conversation with Lindsay Steinsieck, Psy.D and Kristen Aberle, Psy.D about what issues Human Relations Services (HRS) are seeing locally in our town and surrounding towns. Please RSVP to Kat Wilberton or Marian Johnson for location details and/or with any questions.

Please support the Weston PTO and elementary schools’ annual drive for Waltham’s Bristol Lodge Food Pantry and Homeless Shelters. The drive will run from November 1 to November 23. Children can bring non-perishable donations to the designated collection bins at Field School. The goal is to collect at least 2,000 items from each elementary school! Suggested items to donate include canned goods, pasta, boxed juices, cereals, kids’ snacks, condiments, baby food, dried beans and rice. Pull top-lids are preferred, and all items must be non-expired.
In addition, we are offering the option to donate a grocery store gift card (suggested stores are Stop & Shop, Star Market and Market Basket). Please send grocery gift cards to Stacy Gilman, 26 Candleberry Lane, Weston, MA or email to stacysimon21@gmail.com. Venmo donations are also accepted at @Michelle-Raymond-58 (7316 last four digits of phone #). Please involve your students and give!
As in years past, the Field School Student Council will partner with the PTO on this event, and there will be a special prize awarded to the class with the most items: Gaga Ball with Dr. Green! In addition to the items listed above, Field will be collecting NEW men’s and women’s socks as part of the Student Council’s Socktober and Movember Socks and More! Socks can be sent into school with your student, to be placed in the designated collection bins.
