Please send your child to school wearing a swimsuit under their clothes. Class shirts will be distributed in classrooms that morning, and students will move through the Field Day stations with their classes. We encourage athletic attire and sneakers; students can also bring water shoes. Students should bring a cinch sack or small bag. Please label all items so they make it home with your student at the end of this exciting day!

Please apply sunscreen on your student before school, as we will spend almost the entire day outside. Please send sunscreen for reapplication throughout the day. We will have extra on hand. Students will receive sunscreen reminders but are responsible for reapplication themselves.

Food & Drinks:

Morning snacks will be provided (in accordance with Nurse Gaynor) throughout the day, BUT drinks are not provided.  Comella’s Pizza, watermelon, and Luigi’s Real Italian Ice will be served. Be sure to pack a reusable water bottle! We will have refilling stations, but cups will not be available.

Students will rotate through the morning activity stations as a class, including relays, games, and an obstacle course.  Afternoon activities will be less structured and include a highly anticipated dunk tank and other water-themed surprises.  The day will conclude with a screening of the fifth-grade slideshow before dismissal.

Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions. Volunteers can expect to receive an email with additional instructions later this afternoon.

In the event of rain, we will advise via email tomorrow (Tuesday)–but let’s keep our fingers crossed for sun. ☀️

Thank you again for helping make Celebration Day 2023 a success!
