Massachusetts Foreign Language Association Poster Contest Winners
Eli Prague, a 2nd grade student at Woodland School, has won the PreK-2 Division of the poster contest for the Massachusetts Foreign Language Association. Additionally, Millie Simonds, a first grader at Country School, received Honorable Mention in the same contest.
Lily Stegall, a 4th grader at Field School, has won the Grades 3-5 Division of the MaFLA poster contest.
Grace Tolley in 4th grade at Field School received an Honorable Mention for her MaFLA poster.
The theme of the year was “To The Seal and Beyond” referencing the MA State Seal of Biliteracy program. In their posters, students showed us why language learning is a key part of their educational experience and an important component to a well-rounded education.
Both Eli’s and Lily’s posters will be displayed at the MaFLA conference in the fall and on the organization’s website.
Congratulations to all our elementary school winners!
