Event Series for World Language Week
The World Language Department has coordinated a series of events for World Language Week, March 6-10, 2017. We would like to invite all faculty and staff to stop in to any of the events and enjoy the performances/presentations. At the High School, we have the following:
A salsa teacher in the black box on Monday from 11-2:45
A presenter on ancient Roman civilian and military life in the Media Center on Tuesday from 11:30-2
A panel of parents discussing the importance of languages in their lives/careers in the Media Center on Wednesday from 8-8:45 The World Language Fair in the library during E block on Thursday
A guitarist and percussionist in the cafeteria during lunch block on Friday.
In addition, we have a special menu planned (Korean Beef Bowl! Empanadas! More!) for lunches and other touches, such as passing music, the trivia contest that Cort emailed about, Word of the Day announcements, and more.
