Congratulations to the WHS Golf Team!

WHS GOLF TEAMThe golf team completed its regular season last week at 10-3. Their DCL Small League record was 9-1 that tied them for the League Championship.

On 10/23 the team won the Division III North Sectional Golf Championship with a score of 304, St. Mary’s (Lynn) was second at 314 and Austin Prep was third at 324. All three schools move onto the Division III State Team Championship on 10/30. Only the top three finishers move on.

Representing Weston: Nick Cummings 72, Cooper Griffin 76, Noah Cate 77, Stephen Alphas 79, Jacob Finard 84 and Fred Moseley 108. The low four score are tallied for the team total. Nick, Cooper, Noah and Stephen also qualified to compete for the Division III Individual State Championship. Congratulations to long time Coach Mary O’Brien.
