WHS John Minigan’s Latest Accomplishments

Sad MischanceJohn Minigan’s full-length comedy Noir Hamlet will have its premiere in Boston in June, produced by Centastage at the Boston Center for the Arts. Its second production is scheduled for Newburyport’s Actors’ Studio in November 2018.

His full-length Queen of Sad Mischance, developed in a year-long fellowship at New Repertory Theatre, will have additional readings at the Massasoit New Play Fesitval and The Depot in Connecticut in the spring of 2018.

His long one-act Easter at the Entrée Gold  was published by Applause Books in the Best American Short Plays of 2015-2016, in New World Theatre’s It’s Academic, and in the New England New Play Anthology.

His short play The Maltese Walter, recently published in Best Ten-Minute Plays of 2016 will be up next at Funhouse III in Seattle, and his short play Family Planning will be part of Ixion Theatre’s “Fears & Phobias” in Michigan this spring.
