 Studying the Arts (Music, Art, Theater, Dance, Architecture) in College?

How pursuing your talents professionally, combining your passion with other interests or continuing

an interest “on the side” can influence your college decisions.

Some of the topics specific to the application process for students interested in pursuing the arts in college, will include:

  • Liberal arts colleges vs. conservatories or art schools,
  • Majoring or minoring in the arts,
  • Finding the right school or program that fits your needs,
  • Unique aspects of the application process (such as the Common Application Fine Arts Supplement and meeting faculty), and
  • Auditions and portfolios

There will be plenty of time for questions!
