Student Volunteer Opportunity at Camp Sunshine during June Academy on June 13-18th
Camp Sunshine provides retreats combining respite, recreation and support, while enabling hope and promoting joy, for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families through the various stages of a child’s illness. Please visit Camp Sunshine for more info.
If interested, please fill out the application materials by Feb. 15th and submit it to Mr. McLaughlin (mclaughlinj@weston.org) along with a letter stating why you are interested in this opportunity and what attributes and skills you will be able to bring. The application can be found here: https://www.campsunshine.org/sites/default/files/content/docs/2019_vol_app_cc.pdf All applicants must be 16 or older and must provide their own transportation to Casco Maine at the start of camp and back home once camp is finished. There are 10 available spots for students to volunteer.
