Graduation Week Timeline Reminders
Graduation Day is almost here!
The following is the day-by-day breakdown between now and then:
Wednesday, June 5th
- 8:00-10:00 am: Seniors: Senior Internships Assignments due to earn signed clearance forms. Seniors will not receive diploma at graduation without clearance forms completed.
- 8:30-10:00 am: Seniors: Yearbook Signing Breakfast. Field School 5th Grade Time Capsule will be on display.
- 10:00-12:00 noon: Seniors: Rehearsal for Senior Class Day/Auditorium
- 3:00-4:00 pm: Students & families invited: METCO Senior Appreciation Program/Auditorium
Thursday, June 6th
- 8:30 am: Seniors: Assemble for Class Day/Auditorium
- 9:00-11:00 am**: Seniors & Families: Senior Class Day Celebration/Gymnasium
- Post-Celebration Reception/Courtyard
Friday, June 7th
- 9:00-11:00 am: Seniors: Graduation Rehearsal/Town Green. Please bring any required medication/food items, bagged and clearly labeled to hand in to faculty advisors.
- 11:30 am: Gentlemen: Tuxedo Delivery/Town Green
- 3:45-4:00 pm: Seniors: Arrive, fully dressed, WHS Parking Lot. We are leaving at 4:00 Sharp and need time to distribute tags to streamline bag check. Please refer to previous email for guidelines. Gentlemen: remember to bring your tuxedo bag.
- 5:15-7:00 pm**: Everyone: 151st WHS Graduation Ceremony/Town Green. No admission ticket required. Seating is first come/first serve. Administration asks that families not block rows of seats. One of the best vantage points is sitting on the hill! The Class of 2019 will provide golf cart transportation for guests requiring assistance getting to seating area. Weston PD will direct cars to the western end of Town Green (across from Walgreens) to meet student volunteers.
- 7:00 pm**: Everyone: Graduation Reception/Town Green
- 7:30 pm**: Graduates attending event, Advisors and Chaperones: Depart for Overnight Celebration. In case of emergency, call Weston PD at 781.786.6200. The department has our contact information.
Saturday, June 8th
- 5:30 am**: Graduates, Advisors and Chaperones: Arrive at WHS Parking Lot. Students are permitted to leave cars overnight. Most will be extremely tired and for safety sake, parents may want to drive. If you are planning to do so, please arrive by 5:30 am.
