Special Olympics Winter Qualifying Basketball Tournament 2/2/20

Though the Patriots will not be playing this Super Bowl Sunday, we are lucky to have an exciting sporting event close to home.  WHS is once again hosting the Special Olympics Winter Qualifying Basketball Tournament on Sunday, February 2nd.

For over 20 years, WHS has hosted over 300 athletes in their quest for gold! The event is just over 2 weeks away.
In order to have a successful event, we need your help.

How can you help?

1. Encourage your child to sign up to help Sunday Feb 2nd 7:30am-3 pm.Links are on their class facebook pages and students will be at tables outside the cafe at lunches during the week.  The Class of 2020 organizes the event but the entire student body turns out to help. This year the Class of 2023 will be assisting in preparation for taking it over next year!
2. Volunteer as a first aid provider. We need 4 doctors or nurses to be available for first aid care in the gyms (2 in the am and 2 in the afternoon).
