WHS Athletic State Championship Information

The winter season is coming to its conclusion, but before we close the door Weston still has two teams competing in the MIAA State Championships:

Boys & Girls Alpine Skiing will compete on Wednesday March 4th at Berkshire East Ski Resort located in Charlemont, MA. The Weston Girls team will be represented by Kenna McCaughey, Sammie Burns and Jordan Gutwillig. The Weston Boys team will be represented by James Davis, Charlie Marchiony and Spencer Nixdorf
Weston Boys Basketball will play in the D3 North Semi-Finals on Wednesday, March 4th at Whittier Tech at 7pm vs. #2 seed Amesbury for a chance to play for the D3 North Sectional title. The team, an 11^th seed in the tournament has two wins under their belt so far after beating #6 Shawsheen last Tuesday by 20 points and most recently Saturday over #3 seed Newburyport in a thrilling 86-81 victory in their jam packed gym.
