Meeting for Run for Hope Community Service Opportunity 3/5 During Activity Block
On Saturday April 4th the Run for Hope Club will host a fundraiser at WHS. The event will include races for Dual County League track athletes as well as beginner races for young athletes on the track! There will also be activities, food concessions and a raffle for community members of all ages on the football field!
The event raises money for the New England Center and Home for Veterans (NECHV), a facility that provides services and support for veterans facing challenges after military service.
We are meeting in Room 200 during activity block on Thursday 3/5 for anyone interested in volunteering. We need volunteers in positions ranging from face painting to managing food and raffle stands. The event will take place on Saturday, April 4th.
The founders of Run For Hope are Julie Hohenberg, Tally Zeller, and Emília Tutun.
