Join WEEFC!

The WEEFC (Weston Education Enrichment Fund Committee) Board has openings. WEEFC, a sub-committee of the school committee, is a parent organization that raises and distributes funds in the form of grants to support innovative and creative programs outside the annual school budget.

WEEFC has monthly morning meetings to discuss and vote on grants, plan fundraising appeals and community building events, and explore ways to effectively engage our community. In a typical year, we fund about 50 grants and plan at least four community and/or fundraising events. These have included Principal for a Day, Trunk or Treat, the Weston Wingding, and the Field School Art Show Fundraiser.

This year, we are specifically looking for someone with IT experience to help manage our Constant Contact database and auction software.

WEEFC is committed to working towards a board that represents all members of the Weston community. Candidates should contact either Allison Abrams or John Henry, and the deadline for submissions is May 5, 2020.
