Letter From Principal Paul Peri
Dear Wildcat Families!
It is with great pleasure that I reach out to you today to begin what I hope to be an exciting and fulfilling school year for all. I am honored to be a part of Weston High School and the Weston Community and truly look forward to our time together.
While my first few days in Weston have been filled with cleaning, painting, unpacking, and settling in, I have thoroughly enjoyed many moments of meeting staff, students, parents/guardians, hearing WHS stories, and learning the lay of the land. The days have also been FILLED with Zoom meetings as WPS looks to plan for the opening of the 2020-21 school year.
As our thoughts move to next year, each of us is grappling with fear, anxiety, questions, excitement, and stress and we recognize that we are very much in the ‘hurry up and wait’ portion of the summer. With that said, Ms. Flynn and I will be sending weekly Monday Memos/Communications throughout the summer that provide up-to-date information as we receive it. This will continue throughout the school year to keep families informed of updates and additional opportunities for two-way communication.
And in the spirit of two-way communication, I would like to invite parents and students to say hello this summer. I am so looking forward to getting to know you better as we begin our work together. I very much need your eyes, ears, voices, experiences, thoughts and support as we begin this new chapter of our Wildcat lives. If you would like to connect, please reach out to schedule a time with Ms. Katie DeFoe at defoek@weston.org or call the school office at 781-786-5800.
Enjoy every moment of this summer. We all need to recharge and refresh. Cherish time with family and friends. Please reach out at any time to connect via perip@weston.org.
Truly and sincerely,
Paul Peri
