Elections for WHS Student Council and Class of 24, Class of 25 and 26 Student Government are coming up!

If you are interested in running for office, you must attend a mandatory elections meeting on Thursday April 6 before or after school in the auditorium. Morning meeting begins at 8:15, afternoon meeting begins at 3:20. If you are a SAC rep or School Council rep attending the Thursday morning SAC meeting, you are excused but need to check in with Ms. Brisky.

Below is the schedule for elections:

April 6:  Mandatory Elections meeting for all candidates

 April 27:  Student Council Officer speeches during activity block in the auditorium. Online voting to open immediately after speeches, ending on April 28 at the end of school day.

May 18:  Student Government Officer speeches during activity block in class meetings. Locations tbd. Online voting to follow immediately after speeches, ending on May 19 at the end of school day.

May 25: Student council rep speeches during activity block in class meeting locations tbd. Online voting to follow immediately after speeches, ending on May 26 at the end of school day.

  All candidate materials are due the Monday before the election by 4pm submitted via google classroom.

All candidates will make their speeches live on Thursday during activity block. Immediately, following the speeches, voting will be held online. Students have until 3:15 on Friday to vote online, and winners will be announced on Fridays at 3:30 via email.
