World Language Week Recap

The World Language Department hosted a series of activities for students to promote World Language Week, an event that celebrates cultural and linguistic diversity. This year, during the week of March 4-8, students, parents and teachers throughout Weston came together to teach and learn about various cultures.  At the elementary level, we welcomed parents to classes to teach about their cultures and languages. Middle and high school students came together to practice speaking skills and share what they were learning. Other events for secondary students included salsa lessons, a presentation about ancient Roman culture and world language conversation tables for 10 different languages. It was a fun week for all involved!
