Class of 2027 Boat Cruise on June 15th

Parents and Guardians,
Below you’ll find details and links to register for this year’s 9th Grade Boat Cruise on June 15th.  Ninth graders will enjoy cruising Boston Harbor, dinner and dancing with their classmates. This event is only for grade 9 students.

4:45 pm Students board the bus
5:00 pm Bus departs for Boston
5:30 pm Students who live in Boston meet the group and board the boat at Mass Bay Lines at 60 Rowes Wharf, Boston, MA
5:45 pm Boat departs for Sunset Cruise
8:00 pm Boat returns
8:30 pm Students arrive at WHS to be picked up by parents

Please follow the three steps below to register for the event:
  1. Parents please click HERE to complete the Permission Form. Note: Parents with two ninth graders may need to use a different email address to register the second student after registering the first because sometimes Google Forms won’t work properly otherwise.
  2. Students need to read and complete the Dance Contract HERE.
  3. The tickets are $85 on or before June 7th and $100 thereafter.   Final day to sign up is June 12th. Tickets include bus transportation to/from the event, dinner and the cruise. Purchase tickets via MySchoolBucks or via check.  Checks should be made out to Town of Weston (with “Class of 2027 Boat Cruise” in the Memo) and brought to the WHS main office or mailed to Weston High School, Attn: Kristin Mariano, 444 Wellesley St, Weston MA  02493.  (Contact jordant@weston.org for scholarship inquiries).
  4. Since we are taking buses, the expectation is that students meet at the high school, and bag checks will be conducted at the start of the event . No student (with the exception of Boston students) should be meeting us at the boat unless they have that approved prior to the night (with asst. principal). And the reason must be reasonable. No student should be picked up in town. They will ride back and be picked up at the high school — With the exception of Boston students that need to get picked up from the dock, but we need to see parents.
If you would like to make a contribution to help fund scholarships for this ticketed class event, you may do so by indicating the quantity of tickets on the MySchoolBucks purchase page or by sending any amount via check to Kristin Mariano at the address above.
This is a great tradition and sure to be a super fun event that your kids won’t want to miss!
Please reach out with any questions.

Thank you,
