Freshmen Class News
Dear Class of 2028 Parents and Guardians,
We hope everyone is having a fabulous summer! We are sure you and your incoming freshman are excited and probably a little nervous about the fast approaching school year.
We would like to take this time to introduce ourselves as the 2028 High School class parents:
Samantha Bartfield (mother to Skylar), Christy O’Brien (mother to Grace Colsman), Nancy Varela (mother to Marcello), and Olivia Zhao (mother to Jacob Wu).
We will be in touch throughout the year about all the exciting events. There are plenty of opportunities for parents to connect and volunteer!
The first event is Freshman Orientation (students only) on August 29th followed by an Orientation BBQ lunch. Principal Susan Bairstow will be sending out a welcome letter containing location and timing of orientation.
It is a tradition for the incoming Freshman class parents and guardians to provide beverages and desserts for this Orientation BBQ lunch. We are also looking for 10 volunteers to serve. Below is the sign up genius link if you would like to contribute to this fun event.
Additionally, we are looking forward to the annual Fall Parent/Guardian social. This is a great event to reconnect or meet fellow freshman families. If anyone is willing to host at their home for this potluck event, please reach out to us at 2028weston@gmail.com
Finally, please remember to sign up to be a member of the PTO. Your support of the PTO is greatly appreciated and contributes to important events over the school year.
