PumpkinFest – Seeking Donations for Raffle and Proceeds Match!

PumpkinFest is a student-run fundraiser for Camp Sunshine, a retreat in Maine for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. This year, it will be held on Saturday, October 19, on the Town Green.

This event is put on by WHS Student Council. Click here to see highlights from last year.

The event organizers are looking to the community to see if any families would be willing to donate items and/or experiences to be included in the yearly raffle and auction. All proceeds will go directly to Camp Sunshine, thus all donations would be appreciated and will do much to send as many kids to camp as possible.

Such donations could include, but are not limited to: signed jerseys/sports merchandise, tickets to concerts/sporting events, gift cards from personal businesses, private lessons for sports and/or instruments, or academic tutoring.

Additionally, they are currently in search of a business that would be willing to match our proceeds. We would be extremely grateful for any offers on this front, either a complete match donation or an offer to match a smaller portion of the proceeds.
