Successful Pulsera Project Fundraiser!

Congratulations to Sammy Waxman and Sophie Belotte for their successful completion of the Pulsera Project fundraiser. The two 10th graders were exploring community service projects as an assignment for their Spanish Intermediate II class and got really excited about their research of the Pulsera Project which links up Central American artisans with schools throughout the US. They contacted the organization, ordered bracelets and sold them before and afterschool. They made a total of $655 for the artisans community which was enough money to provide 10 months of schooling and over 4 months of employment!
Thanks to everyone who supported the fundraiser by purchasing the bracelets and thanks to Ms. Mongiello for guiding the process!
