WHS DECA Members Qualify for State Competition
Weston High School students demonstrated exceptional performance at the recent DECA district competition. An impressive seventy-three out of one-hundred eighteen participating students placed in the top four of their respective events, securing invitations to the upcoming DECA State competition in March.
This achievement represents the highest number of state qualifiers in Weston’s history, showcasing the students’ remarkable skills and preparation. The entire group represented the school with outstanding professionalism, regardless of their state competition qualification status.
The success was made possible through collaborative efforts, including faculty chaperones, teachers who supported student participation by allowing competition-related absences, and parent volunteers who assisted with judging.
