Election Information for 9th Graders
Elections for the 2026-2027 school year are quickly approaching!
Below, I have provided details for the meetings and election schedule. Please be sure to check your calendar to ensure that you can attend an election meeting prior to running for any of the open positions. The meetings will be held in room 31 (English wing).

Class Officer/Student Government
Election Meeting – You must attend ONE of the meetings. Meetings will be held on Wednesday, 9/16 at 8:15 AM or Thursday, 9/17 at 8:15 AM.
*You must attend an election meeting to be eligible to run for office.
Friday, 9/25 at 8:45 AM
– Nomination papers and speech due via Student Government election Google Classroom. You must submit nomination papers with signatures and a copy of speech. If any edits are required, I will be contacting you via email by Monday, 9/28.
Wednesday, 9/30 during Wildcat Block
– Student Government speeches delivered live to your class. Online elections immediately following speeches.
Student Council (STUCO) Representatives election
Election Meeting – Thursday, 10/1 at 8:15 AM in room 31
*You must attend an election meeting to be eligible to run for office.
Tuesday, 10/6 at 3:15 PM
– Nomination papers and speech due via StuCo election Google Classroom. You must submit nomination papers with signatures and a copy of speech. Your election video will also be submitted at this time
Thursday, 10/8
– STUCO rep speeches videos are shared with the class of 2030. Online elections immediately following speeches.
