Club Highlights

book driveThe Literary Magazine Club will be carrying out a book drive from February 5th to February 16th! We will be donating to More Than Words, which is a nonprofit organization that allows underprivileged youth to take charge of a business and their lives. It is both a job training program and a bookstore, and just supplying an old book for our book drive can make a difference in an individual’s life. Drop boxes will be located by the main entrance.

Please donate items in good, gently used, or better condition!

The Literary Magazine collaborated with the Creative Writing class to release a series of poems and stories on a Facebook page. Art pieces were collected as part of this project. Students looked at creative writing pieces and edited them. The club used writing prompts to create writing during the Activity Block periods, like creating Blackout poetry or word association poetry. This year, we are working on launching a blog and are collecting submissions for our first paper and electronic collection to be distributed in January.
