Information for Students


Attendance in AP Classes required

Due to the four snow days and the subsequent rearranging of schedules, as well as the senior skip day, class time for AP students is critical. This year, attendance in AP classes is REQUIRED the week of AP Exams. This means that if a student has an AP exam in the morning and an AP class in the afternoon, attendance in the afternoon AP class is mandatory and vice versa. This change only applies to AP classes. Attendance in non-AP courses during AP exam week is NOT required as usual.

This applies to seniors the first week of AP exams. Seniors on their internships return only to take their AP exams during the second week.

Spring Fling is a community event run by WHS Student  Council. School groups  organize activities for  children in grades K-4, such as face painting, obstacle course, moon bounce, dunk tank, etc. This year, all  proceeds will benefit Camp No Limits, a camp for young people with limb loss. Volunteers Needed to Assist in the

Guidance Department Head Search Process

The Weston Public Schools is seeking volunteers to serve on the search committee for a new Guidance Department Head, serving grades 6-12.  The search committee will consist of a mix of administrators, staff, students, and parents.  Participation on this committee will require a substantial time commitment of afternoon/evening meetings this spring.  This committee will be named on or before Friday, May 1st. Please email Mr. Anthony Parker

 if you are interested in serving on this committee.

The first meeting will be Tuesday, May 5th, 6pm 7pm in the Principal’s Conference Room at the High School.

Weston HS Senior Internship Mentors Needed

May 12-June 2, 2015

Weston Seniors spend their last weeks before graduation exploring careers by spending six hours per day at an internship site.  We seek mentors to provide information about a career path, give an intern worthwhile work, include the intern in daily activities, and complete a brief evaluation at the end of the internship. These areas are needed the most:

Mechanical Engineering

Computer Programing


Animal/veterinary services

Physical Therapy


Sports Management
