BWMPO

The Boston Weston METCO Parent Organization (BWMPO) consists of parent volunteers who work together with the METCO Director and the METCO liaisons to support parents to fully engage in their child’s/children’s education by participating in district/community organizations and activities.  We collaborate with organizations across the district to share important, relevant, and timely information with the community and serve as a model for other METCO districts.

BWMPO holds monthly meetings in Boston to inform parents of current and upcoming events, share information regarding students and METCO Program, and enhance parent interaction. During the school year we also host one or more joint meetings with Weston PTO, invite the school committee to an annual meeting in Boston, and have representation on the School Committee, School Councils, and a variety of other committees and groups in WPS.
