April Break Message

Dear Weston schools community,

As we enter April break, I wanted to write with a few reminders and remarks of gratitude.

First, thank you all for helping to get our students successfully to this point in the school year. We have come far and learned much since September and over the last two years, and while we still have much left to do before summer vacation and beyond, we will continue to move forward together.

Another thank you to everyone who signed up to receive free at-home rapid antigen tests. DESE extended this program, so all students and staff can continue to take home a free box of rapid COVID-19 tests every two weeks.

We are seeing COVID-19 numbers now back on the rise in and beyond Weston, and weekly testing is still strongly encouraged. If you can, please plan to use one of these rapid tests on Sunday April 24th before returning Monday April 25th. Contact Health Services Director Jamy Gaynor with any COVID-19 related questions or concerns during the April break.

Lastly, please mark your calendars for Town Meeting on Monday May 9th at 7pm, held in the High School Auditorium.  Click here for more details.

Best wishes for the long weekend and following week,

Dr. Midge Connolly, Superintendent of Schools
