Woodland families,
We are excited to welcome students new and old to Woodland this week. Below is an update of upcoming events and important dates.
Monday, August 30 from 3-4:30 pm: BACK-TO-SCHOOL ICE CREAM SOCIAL FOR WESTON FAMILIES

Please come enjoy some ice cream and playground time with new and old friends as we celebrate the start of the school year!
Where? Country School Playground (rain location will be under the awning at the front of the school)

Wednesday, September 1: First Day of School for 1-3 | Visiting Day for K from 10 am – 10:45 am
Wednesday, September 1: 11 am – 1pm — WCCA Annual Kindergarten Kick-Off Party
Immediately following the kindergarten school visits, join us on Alphabet Field at 1 Alphabet Lane from 11 am – 1 pm for Woodland and Country kindergarten families. Please bring your own nut-free lunch or snack.

Friday, September 3 at 9 AM: New Family Virtual Parent Coffee
There will be a New Family Virtual Parent Coffee for families new to Weston/Woodland on September 3rd at 9 am via zoom. Come join a conversation with Principal Faber to help answer any and all questions you may have! Zoom details below:

Notable Updates
Communications Waiver Form for Sharing Information Amongst Families
If you would like your email address to be included on the classroom contact list, allowing you to receive classroom communications, volunteer requests, classroom supply requests etc, please take a moment to fill out this Consent Form if you have not done so already. Without your consent, we are not able to include your personal contact information. If you do not wish to have your information shared, there is a place to note that on the form. Thank you!
Car Pickup Placards
If you were unable to pick up your placard, they have been put in the white container outside the school’s front doors marked Parent Pick Up/Drop Off. Please stop by and pick up your placard before the start of school.
Chalk Art!
Please stop by the school today or tomorrow and help us decorate the drop-off circle and driveway up to the bus circle! Doodles, messages, Woodland Wolves …. Any drawings are welcome! Thanks for your help starting this year off in a welcoming way.
