Notable Updates and Upcoming Events:
The Woodland Spirit Gear Store is OPEN now until Sunday, September 26th
We are excited to announce that our Woodland Spirit Gear Store is OPEN! Stock up on gear for yourself or your kiddos. It’s also never too early to think about teacher gifts. Any proceeds from gear sales supports Woodland PTO efforts and events for this school year.

Order forms are being sent home in backpacks. Photos can also be ordered online @ www.coffeepond.com (select “Woodland Elementary School”). There will be class photos this year. All photos will be taken outside in the school courtyard.

Tuesday, October 5: Virtual Kindergarten Forum | 8:45 am
You are invited to attend a Kindergarten Forum to get answers to any questions you might have and discuss the Kindergarten learning experience. Zoom information below to follow as event gets closer.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Woodland School Council Volunteer Position
We have one opening on the Woodland School Council for a parent representative. No experience needed. The Council (a combination of principal, parents, PTO and teachers/staff) meet once per month via zoom to support educational goals, review annual school building budget and formulate a school improvement plan. QUESTIONS ABOUT ORDERING LUNCH?
Weston schools are providing bagged lunches for students who would like to order lunch instead of bringing it from home. The bagged lunches are brought to the classroom daily before lunch time. Here is the link to the school lunch menu: https://www.westonschools.org/country/blog/2017/09/25/lunch-menu/. The order form link is above the menu. It says “Click here for the school lunch order form.” You will need your child’s Student ID Number, which can be found in Infinite Campus. You will order weekly and must complete the entire week choosing “No Lunch” on the days you will not want lunch. Changes or updates after the form is submitted should be called or emailed to Melanie at 781-786-5292 or pleskom@weston.org. All orders must be received no later than 8:00 am for service that day. The weekly order form will be updated each Friday by 1:30 PM. If you have any questions about ordering lunch, please contact Food Services by phone at (781) 786-5321 or email at concannonk@weston.org. DON’T FORGET TO TELL YOUR STUDENT IF YOU HAVE ORDERED LUNCH FOR HIM/HER THAT DAY 🙂
