Weston PTO Drive to Support the Lincoln-Weston Food Pantry: September 20th – October 1st
Please help the Weston PTO support the Lincoln-Weston Food Pantry!  The Weston-Lincoln Food pantry is low on inventory and has asked for our help to restock their shelves.  While all donations are appreciated, they are particularly in need of non-dairy milk, nut butters, cereal, granola bars, oils, sugar, condiments and international foods.  Please make sure any donations are non-perishable, in sealed packages and not expired.  Donation bins will be located at all the Weston Public Schools from Monday, September 20th through Friday, October 1st.  Alternatively, gift cards to Market Basket or Donelan’s may be mailed to Kim Mai, 39 Pine Street, Weston, MA 02493 and monetary donations may be mailed to St. Vincent de Paul, P.O. Box 324, Lincoln, MA 01773 or Venmo’d to @Theresa-Nibi (5010 last four digits of phone #).  Thank you for your support of this important organization in our community!

@Westonwoodlandwolves Needs Your Help!
Are you Instragram savvy and want to get involved?  Help us manage the Woodland School Instragram account!  Contact Courtney Farkas at Courtney.L.Farkas@gmail.com if you are interested.

Woodland School Council Volunteer Position
We have one opening on the Woodland School Council for a parent representative.  No experience needed.  The Council (a combination of principal, parents, PTO and teachers/staff) meet once per month via zoom to support educational goals, review annual school building budget and formulate a school improvement plan.  If interested, please contact Courtney Farkas at courtney.l.farkas@gmail.com or Meghan Covington at meghancovington@gmail.com by October 8.  School Council elections will run from October 12-15.

Weston PTO Creative Arts Volunteer

Weston PTO is looking for new members to join the Creative Arts Committee. We bring professional performing artists and authors to the students of Weston.  Programs are funded through the generosity of WEEFC and the Weston PTO.  Members collaborate with teachers and administrators to select performing artists and authors that support and enhance curriculum, as well as provide enriching art experiences.  There are different levels of engagement and volunteers should expect to commit between 2-5 hours per month as a committee member. Responsibilities include attending monthly meetings to share ideas and resources, attending previews of performers at local schools and showcases, and acting as liaison to Weston schools to book artists.  Please contact Heidi Estrada (heidifestrada@gmail.com) for more information.
