Author Sophie Blackall to Visit Kindergarten and 1st Grade (October 3)

Emma Kwon, Weston Public Schools’ elementary library media specialist, is thrilled to share that Weston is hosting author and illustrator Sophie Blackall, two time Caldecott Medal winner (2016: Finding Winnie and 2019: Hello Lighthouse), and illustrator of the NYT best selling series, Ivy + Bean.

Sophie will be in Boston to launch her new picture book, If I Was A Horse, and Sophie will present it to all Kindergarten and 1st Grade classes (Country School and Woodland School) on Tuesday, October 3, at 8:45am in the Woodland cafeteria. Books will be available for purchase and signing through Wellesley Books. The deadline to order books is Friday, September 29. Please contact Emma Kwon with any questions.
