WS PTO Update
Hello, Woodland Wolves!
Parents’ Night Out is coming up THIS WEDNESDAY, October 18th, and it is not too late to attend. This year’s event will be indoors in the Taproom at Lookout Farm, and will be a great chance to socialize with friends old and new! Last year was a really special opportunity to come together as a parent community, and we’d love for YOU to join us this year – this time, indoors and warmer! RSVP here so you don’t miss out.
Thank you to our wonderful parent volunteers who helped at Friday’s Picture Day, and we hope to see many of you this Wednesday evening and next week at Trunk or Treat!

Trunk or Treat (October 27)
This year’s Trunk-or-Treat will take place on Friday, October 27th from 4:30-6pm in the Field School Parking Lot. Pizza will be provided by the PTO, so come find our table. This event relies on the help of volunteers so we encourage you to sign-up! We are in need of NUT-FREE candy donations, safe NON-FOOD items for teal pumpkins and trunk decorators. You can access these volunteer opportunities here.
For those who want to decorate a trunk, THANK YOU! This is a really fun way to get your whole family involved in the event, or you might even consider partnering with a friend! Whatever makes the experience the most fun and doable for you. The event flyer and trunk examples can be found at the bottom of this email. This event is open to PK-5 students from all three elementary schools and their families. Parents, please note that this is not a drop-off event and that all children need to be accompanied by an adult. It is our goal to make this event safe, inclusive, and fun for all of our families. Only NUT-FREE food items will be allowed at this event. Thank you in advance for your willingness to volunteer for what is sure to be a SPOOKtacular Trunk-or-Treat event.

Weston METCO Meadow Farms Fundraiser (November 17)
The annual Weston METCO Fundraiser that supports the Weston High School METCO Student Activities Group is beginning. This year the Black Student Union (BSU) has decided to try a different vendor – Meadow Farms. It offers a variety of items from candles to candy to Stonewall Kitchen items. 100% of the proceeds will help support and assist the High School METCO students. Previous fundraisers have allowed us to assist with field trips and AP exam fees as well as host METCO student celebrations and community building events. We would love to expand our efforts to include supporting our Global Student Travel Funds, which offers scholarships to assist METCO Student participation in educational travel opportunities. Your orders will help make this possible.
For your convenience we are accepting online orders that will be shipped directly to your home. Place your order now through November 17. Please contact Nancy Fournier via email or at 781-786-5851 with questions.
