New Assistant Superintendent of Teaching & Learning

Superintendent Connolly is pleased to announce that Dr. Abbie Lareau has accepted the position of Assistant Superintendent of Teaching and Learning.  Dr. Lareau begins her work with the Administrative Team and the schools immediately.

Dr. Abbie Lareau was the Director of School Improvement and Professional Learning for the Stamford Public School in CT, and prior to that she was the Director of Curriculum and Assessment for the Nantucket Public Schools.  She has also been an educational consultant with Educational Connection.  Dr. Lareau received her BA from Providence College and her MEd and Doctor of Education from UMASS Amherst.   The WPS Administration is excited to add Dr. Lareau’s experience and knowledge to the Administrative Team.
