Administrative Searches – Approximate Timeline and Request for Volunteers

Searches are  currently underway for two administrative positions, Assistant Superintendent for Teaching and Learning and Assistant Superintendent for Finance and Operations in the Weston Public Schools.

Assistant Superintendent for Teaching and Learning

Superintendent Connolly will serve as Chair of the interview committee for the Assistant Superintendent of Teaching and Learning and is requesting volunteers.  The committee will be comprised of the Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent for District Advancement, Principals (2), Elementary Curriculum Specialist (1), Department Head/Director (1), Faculty (3), and Parents/Guardians (2).

If you are interested in serving on this committee, please email the Office of the Superintendent by April 4.  The initial meeting of the interview committee will be Monday, April 9 at 4:00 PM at Case House.   It is anticipated that interviews will take place April 11 and 12 with announcement of finalists prior to April break.

It is anticipated that finalists selected will visit the schools the week after April vacation. There will be opportunity for representative groups to meet with these finalists and provide feedback.  Superintendent Connolly anticipates announcing selection of the Assistant Superintendent for Teaching and Learning in early May.

Assistant Superintendent of Finance and Operations

Superintendent Connolly will serve as Chair of an interview committee comprised of  District Administrators (3), Faculty and Staff (5), Directors of Operations (2), Community Members (1) and Town Manager/Town Business Official (1).  If you are interested in serving on this committee, please email the Office of the Superintendent by April 4. The initial meeting of the interview committee will be Tuesday, April 10 at 4:00 PM at Case House.   It is anticipated that interviews will take place April 12 and 13.

Superintendent Connolly anticipates announcing selection of the Assistant Superintendent of Finance and Operations in May.
