Parent and Community Forums for Assistant Superintendent Finalists (4/25, 4/26, 4/27)
There will be simultaneous finalist visits for the positions of Assistant Superintendent for Teaching and Learning and Assistant Superintendent of Finance and Operations on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday this week. Each candidate will have the opportunity throughout the day to meet with administrators, faculty, and parents.

Brief Biographical Information
Assistant Superintendent for Teaching and Learning Finalists
James “Kimo” Carter has been the Principal of Watertown Middle School since 2005. Prior to that, he was the Assistant Principal of Hawthorne Brook Middle School in Townsend MA and a social studies teacher in Billerica. Kimo holds his Bachelor of Arts from Wesleyan University, Master of Arts in Teaching Degree in History and Education from Boston College, and a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Harvard University. Kimo also holds an Ed.D in Educational Administration from Boston College.
Kerry Ann Dunne has been the Grade 6-12 History and Social Studies Department Head for the Weston Public Schools since 2016. Kerry came to Weston from the Boston Public Schools where she was the Director of History and Social Studies K-12 for the district. Prior to that, she was the K-12 Social, Academic Studies Director, Teaching American History Grant Program Director and Extension Program Director for the Arlington Public Schools. Kerry earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from Marquette University, a Master of Education from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and her Ed.D from Boston College.
Leslie Patterson is currently an Associate Principal at Lincoln Sudbury High School, a position she has held since 2001. Prior to that, Leslie was a math teacher at Newton North High School. Leslie received her Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Music from Williams College and both a Masters of Education in Teaching and Learning and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Administration, Planning and Social Policy from Harvard University. Leslie is currently enrolled in a doctoral program in Educational Leadership at Boston College.
Assistant Superintendent of Finance & Operations
Thomas Lafleur has been CFO/Director of Finance and Operations for the Gloucester Public Schools since 2015. Prior to that he worked in the private sector as the owner of The LStrike Group LLC in Londonderry NH and as a Project Manager for Tyler Technologies in Merrimack NH. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University and a Master of Science in Administration from Howard Taft University.
Camie Lamica has been the Assistant Superintendent for Business at Quaboag Reginal School District in Warren MA since 2013. Before that she was the Director of Financial Services for the Berlin Boylston School/Union, as the Director of Business and Operations for the Minuteman Regional Vocational School District and as Business Manager for the Ludlow and West Springfield Public Schools. Camie holds her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Western New England College and a Master of Business Administration from Regis University in Denver, CO.
Sheri-Lynne Matthews has been the Director of Business Services for the Tewksbury Public Schools since 2014. Before that she was the Director of Finance/Operations for the Leicester Public Schools and spent many years as the Budget Officer for the Northborough-Southborough Public School System. Sheri received both her Bachelor of Science in Business Management and her Masters of Science in Leadership, from Northeastern University.
