Letter from Superintendent Midge Connolly

February 17, 2023

Dear Weston School Community,

After eight years and with wonderful memories, I write to let you know that I will be moving on at the end of the 2022-2023 school year.  This was not a decision I came to lightly, but it is what is right for my family and me at this moment. Leaving a job that you care deeply about is never easy, but the time has come for me to pursue other professional opportunities and I am looking forward to what lies ahead.

What an exceptional eight years it has been working with educators, families, the School Committee, and an outstanding administrative team.  The Weston school community is a strong one, it was before my arrival, and it will continue to be so long after I leave in no small part because of the amazing, talented professionals that work on behalf of the students.  In addition, the family involvement and support that is part of the ethos of this district is remarkable. Between the PTO, BWMPO, WEEFC, SEPAC and Boosters, this is a school district that is championed by many stakeholders, and I am grateful to have been a part of it for the last many years.

I have learned much in my tenure in Weston and have met wonderful people. Thanks to all of you for your commitment and dedication, always keeping what is the most beneficial for all students at the center of our work together.  I am appreciative of my time here in Weston and look forward to the next four months and beyond.  Be well.

Best,

Dr. Midge Connolly
